Well Cooper is now 10 months old now and he is 18lbs and tall and skinny, but so cute. Still has behavior problems, but we are working on it. He listens and obeys an 1 hr a week, hehehe. Enjoy them, they don't live as long as we do.

Wow! Cooper sounds just like my Richiee!!! Hes an all black maltipoo. When i got him they told me that he would only grow to be 7lbs, but he just turned 1 and hes 17 POUNDS!!! My vet told me its because he tall. I was kinda dissappointed because i wanted a smaller dog. Richiee is my heart now and I wouldnt trade him for the world! I also wanted to know if Cooper's behavior has improved because Richiee's has'nt .=(

SAME HERE MY BICHON MALTIPOO IS 11 LBS AND WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 7 LBS, BUT BICHONS ARE KINDA BIG SO I GUESS THATS WHY

LOL!!! My Cooper is now 14.5lbs!!! And I am starting to wonder if he's really a Maltipoo! :/

I don't know where they get the weight ratio either. I would be interested to know the weights of other Maltipoos. We were told our Bella would grow to be 6 lbs, because the mom was a 4 lb maltese and the dad was an 8 lb toy poodle. Bella is now 12 lbs! I love her to bits, but I am disappointed because I wanted a much smaller dog. I don't tell her that tho!
