I am getting a black Morkie in Dec. The hernia, is common on puppies. I had a Yorkie that had one as a puppy, however once she grew, the hernia went away, and she had puppies once. She had a litter of 4. I had her fix after that, even so, the puppies and mom did well, the hernia never came back or was an issue. As for the house breaking, get a crate, leave puppy in crate and take out every hour to go outside. Once outside always us a word, like (go potty, or go quick) Once puppy has completed, give praise, and than play with him for a bit. Put puppy back in crate, and do this for a couple of days, every hour. It will not take long. And most puppy like their crates, as long as you do not make it a place of punishment.

I have a black Morkie that i payed a 1000.00 dollars for at a pet store. She is my baby and she is trained. But we can not leave her alone if we go out even for 10 mins to go to store.She well whine the whole time we are gone and she well bark. Do anyone else experience this

My Moxie

My Morkie, Moxie, is all black with a white patch on her chest. She just recently started growing in little white hairs all over her body. I fear she will be salt and peppered. :( She's only 7.5 months right now and is potty trained and knows how to sit, lay, jump, shake and roll over. She got her brain from her Maltese side, no doubt.

Berkley is now 9 months old and while he is still black in colour, tiny white hairs are becoming more visible, but you can't even tell unless you look very closely.

morkie with hernia!!!!!!!!!

I just purchased a morkie who has hernia and from what I read it isn't good for the girls because you can not breed them once they have had this and had the surgery to repair.

I paid $1450 and got the puppy from star yorkie kennel in California and I am so saddddddddddddd.

We got her off the plane at midnight Friday. She had clear mucus hanging out of her nose and first thing I noticed was the hernia. I did not know what it was just noticed a huge lump on her tummy. SIGH MY HEART IS BROKEN........
