maltipoo
by: Anonymous

I have a 1 1/2 year old Maltipoo who looks almost exactly like your dog,its so funny.Mine is Franki. He chewed our carpet along the edge and also the leather recliner,we tried that sour apple along the carpet and then gave him another toy in place of the carpet.Dog Whisperer recommended doing that,so i guess what im saying is to distract him with something else, they eventually forget about it if you dont make a huge deal out of it,however we have carpet missing since it took Frank awhile to "forget" ha

digging maltipoo
by: Anonymous

Hi, we have a little maltipoo that's 5 months now. She really is a great little puppy who listens very well. When we tell her no, to chewing something she shouldn't she will listen and turn away from it. Just be consistant with your dog and he will listen.

I suggest a digging pit.
by: Anonymous

Hello I also just got a Maltipoo whom I adore. I have been doing everything I can to help him burn his energy and in my research I learned that dogs are natural diggers. They love it and will do it whether we want them to or not. We have to provide them with a way to satisfy that instinct by giving them somewhere to dig. Having a white maltipoo means - not in the dirt lol. So I came up with an idea and it's been working great. I put newspapers in a laundry basket - not a few sheets but actually put two whole newspapers in, I crinkled up the first few sheets and hit treats in the layers. I put my puppy in the basket and he went crazy digging the paper and finding his treats. He loves his "digging pit" and he will now go to it and whine at us to tell us he wants in!
