Maltese Chihuahua Cross - Cooper
by Tracey

Here's Cooper!
Cooper is a 6 month old Maltese Chihuahua cross and pretty much runs the household. He stole my heart the moment I saw him at 2 weeks. To my surprise, he was fully potty trained at 8 weeks! He sits, lays down, dances, and gives you "five" on command. He has recently been trained on a leash and brings it to me the minute I walk in the door every afternoon. Is he spoiled? Yes! He sleeps with my husband and I every night. (Pictures available upon request! lol) I can honestly say he was the BEST present EVER!

Maltese Chihuahua Cross - Zoe Dale

Zoe just getting picked up from the groomer.
Zoe is a very sweet and a little spoiled Maltese Chihuahua cross. There are a couple of things in particular that Zoe loves and that is to sleep in bed with me and getting dressed.
She is currently pregnant and it being her first litter. Her due date is Feb 22nd, 2009. Before her condition, she played with our other dogs and ran around like a spaz, but now she is more reserved. Her personality is very sweet; but she can also be very moody, at least around the other dogs. I found that her breed is unique when it comes to potty training. When potty training, some people may get inpatient and may scolded a puppy if they make a mistake, but you can not do this with Malchi's. Zoe will go all day if she has been scolded.
We live out in the country so she is not allowed to go outside alone due to the coyote's and owls, but Zoe sure loves to stand outside when it's windy allowing her hair to blow.
