Maltese Fox Terrier Mix - Scooter

Gorgeous Scooter, the Maltese Fox Terrier mix, is such a DEVOTED dog and definitely a Mummy's Boy! :) He sits on my lap at EVERY opportunity and although he plays with the children, he leaves their games at the earliest chance to sit on my lap again!!

His favourite food is dry, plus our food, never canned/wet. He sure loves barking and is extremely protective & territorial.

To sum up, he is a total lap-dog, who has a great deal of energy too!

I HAVE A DOG JUST LIKE YOURS BUT HER FACE IS BLACK WITH GRAY!!! THEY ARE SUCH AN AMAZING BREED SO DIFFERENT NOT LIKE YOUR AVERAGE POODLE OR BOXER!! IT'S SOOO GREAT TO FIND ANOTHER DOG LIKE MINE!! GO BLUE MUSTANGS!!!

Scooter is adorable!

Hi! I recently rescued a terrier mix dog and named her Windy. She is simply put, the most wonderful dog on the face of the earth. Smart, well mannered, obediant, talented, loving, loyal, playful...I could go on and on all day! She looks exactly like your 'Scooter!' I have been researching for months now, what mix of breeds she might be and Maltese has never come up at all. I was wondering how you know Scooter has Maltese in him? Windy's paperwork originally said "Wire Fox Terrier mix" and several different vets have told me no. Border Terrier mix is what we have finalized on but I know in my heart there is more to her. I am determined to find out more if I can. It's funny, while pure breds are in such high demand, I think it's the one of a kind mutts like ours that really hold the key to perfection. Windy is energetic as well but has the energy to chase bunnies (or sticks, or tennis balls) for an entire day if necessary. She too is protective but only barks when someone is near our home. She is very bright and attentive and has the most unbelievably sweet and loving demeanor. She will soon be certified as a service dog and be visiting area childrens Hospitals and Retirement Centers so that we can share the joy she has brought to our family. Thanks for sharing Scooter! He is adorable!

i have a dog just like that she looks a lot like her I'm trying to figure out what kind of dog she is i got her at the human society and they found her in the slippery rock trust me it took a couple of mouths for her to take a tick bath and stuff. her name is Scruffles she got loess a couple of times to when there is someone at the door she would bark and bark even when its the delivery man she sometimes tries to bite my sister tho

oh and heres a joke: how do u weigh a fish: u dont they have there own scales and heres another: what do u call a fish with no eyes FSH LOL thx
