Maltese Poo - Cocoa

We adopted our Maltese Poo Cocoa in 2006 - he was abandoned and we were lucky enough to make him part of our family. He's a funny little guy, so loving and sweet. He has an extremely calm and accepting nature, and absolutely adores going places and meeting new people. He and I have been trained and are a registered Pet Partner Team with Delta Society. So we put on his vest and go visiting whenever possible.
Our Maltipoo loves to play, and has three favorite toys; a sock (with puppies on it), my cell phone case, and the cap from a can of hairspray. He actually kicks the cap around the house and runs after it as it rolls ahead of him. It is so much fun to watch. And playing sock with him is an experience as he growls and plays mean.
He is a beautiful mix of white, cream and a touch of brown on the back of his legs. His eyes are a gorgeous chocolate brown, and his nose and pads of his feet are also brown.
We are so incredibly lucky to have our Maltese Poodle mix Cocoa in our family - it was amazing to watch him gain confidence in our home in the first 3-4 months. He was a skinny 6 pounds when they found him, and within a few months he gained weight and has been at a solid 10 pounds now. I am constantly taking photos of him and have submitted his picture to local newspapers, on-line at so many web sites, contests, etc. Cocoa sends out Halloween and Christmas cards each year to his "family" that contain some of his best shots.
He sleeps by my side each evening, after watching TV with us. He watches all sports shows with my husband, and leaves the room when scary movies are on (he hates the screaming).
We are grateful each day that he is with us and have spoiled him completely. But he deserves it.
