Fred
by: Debbi

Your little Fred is a real cutie ...

I also had a Maltese Poodle Mix named
Tara .. My husband was also in a wheelchair
and so Tara thought of that as " normal "
and when I put her in my Pet Therapy program
at the Nursing Home .. she would bounce from
one wheelchair to another and her real fun
came when she would ride with some of them up
and down the halls ... Sadly I have lost them
both over the past few years but certain memories
are still so vivid to me and your sweet story
of Fred brought a smile to me .. Enjoy your
sweet fur baby ....

Fred
by: Little Miss Muffit

Your Fred sounds totally adorable. Miss Muffit (my Morkie--Yorkie with Maltese) is the same way. If she gets out the door, she is like a greased puffball on the loose. Since she likes people, especially kids, we usually catch her. It's really a worry on the street. She is so fast no one would see her coming and be able to avoid her. We fenced our backyard, but she is so small (6 lbs.) she can find places to get out. That is a nuisance as well as a worry.

If you or anyone else comes up with a good solution, let me know. She's been so easy to train on everything else, but not this.
