Maltese Shih Tzu Puppies - Gabi

Gabi's First Puppy Clip at 4 months
Gabi is almost 5 months old and weighs about 6.5 lbs. She is the love of our lives. Maltese Shih Tzu puppies are the best! We lost our cat of 21 years 1.5 years ago and needed another animal in our lives.
We are senior citizens and love to travel. Knowing another cat would probably not be good for traveling, I convinced my husband that a Shih Tzu type dog would be best, as I had one many years ago and know of their disposition. Needless to say, the little puppy we received 3/4 Shih Tzu and 1/4 Maltese has turned out to be more my husbands dog than mine, even though she was a Christmas present to me from my daughter.
We plan on taking her camping in our 5th wheel this Spring and are looking forward to her companionship for years to come. She loves to play (wrestle) with my husband. She does not bark unless she is playing, not even when she is around other dogs that are barking. She will only be about 9-10 lbs fully grown and is from a mother who is 1/2 Shih Tzu 1/2 Maltese and a father who is a small 100% Shih Tzu. I believe that she is part cat as well, she can climb better than any dog I've ever seen.
We did not want to crate train her as we were told we may need to do, since they are fairly stubborn to pad train. She has the freedom of our home and is now pad trained, but it did take patience. She loves the snow and being outside. She gets along great with my daughters two dogs (Boxer Lab mix and Chihuahua Doxie mix).
Gabi has enriched our lives so much that it's actually brought my husband and I closer together as a couple. Our lives are complete.
