Potty Patch

Potty Patch has worked wonders for my 2 month old maltise shihtzu...He refused do go all the time on the pads but after only 2 days and VERY VERY limited training he took righ up to the potty patch like it was calling his name! Hope this helps!!

What a cutie!! I have a female Maltese Shih Tzu also and she was pretty easy to potty train but would sometimes just squat and potty on the carpet up until about 6 months. She was mostly training on the potty pads. I used to keep my eye on her continually and as soon as she made a mistake I would immediately take her to the pad and tell her "go potty". After being consistent by 8mos old she was 100% with no accidents (now 2 yrs old). I can even give her the command to potty and she will go to her pads and go. You must give tons of praise when she goes on the pad, they love the real high pitched "Good Girl" voice and make it a big deal with a treat. Zoe will turn in cicles with excitement and prance around when I praise her. This mixed breed has such a sweet, loving personality it is almost hard to be too upset with anything they do wrong. You must let them know who is in charge, and you will have a wonderful pet. I love Peanut's coloring, what a baby girl! Best Wishes!
