Maltese Walked into my Life

This is the story about how I found a free Maltese dog. I was working in my house one summer day and my male servant came to me telling me that there is a dog in the inside house yard. I said it must be the neighbors go ask them he said he did ask and its not come and see it. I said maybe it's lost ask around then he said its been sitting next to his room door for the past 36 hours. Then I said you don't say why you didn't tell me go get him he went and got him. He walks in and placed the cutest white fuzz ball on my living room floor. I was so happy to see this cute creature looking at me and getting close to me, ooh my god what a cutie, hello little fella are u a he or she? I checked and it was boy with very long messy grayish white hair I gave this Maltese some water asked my servant if he had given him any food. He said yes he was eating his chicken left overs, then I gave him a bath and checked him if he was infected or anything to find out that his ears where cut short declawed and his teeth where all filed. His canine where almost the size of is front teeth. I felt so sorry for this abused dog how could they do such a thing for this poor little soul :( How can he defend himself if he once in danger. He's defenseless!
Then started grooming him. Kept him for the next 5 days and asked around if anyone has lost a dog informed the vet got nothing so I kept him and searched for its breed to find out he was a Maltese. I tried to get to know all the info I can get about him, bought him food that he can eat as for his tooth condition he couldn't tear the food so the food he eats is mostly soft food. He tries to eat the biscuits just because I make him eat it cause I serve him nothing else. Every once in a while I feel hurt to see him suffer but I know he shouldn't be only eating soft food. I cared for my Maltese very much handled him with all the TLC I can give not to mention that I loved him the first time I saw him. I spoiled him I admit I had fun with him. He's so polite and adorable and sweet and cuddly he enjoys our walks and runs at the beach. He's also very scared of the neighborhood cat (I keep saying its cuz he has nothing to defend him self with no teeth no claws) month's passes to a year and I love my dog more each day hes never out of my care or sight and when I go to work he jumps happy when I get back. One day he wakes up 7:30am goes out his doggy door to do his deeds as usual I was getting ready for work, minutes passes by he's not back I think maybe he's with my servant. I ask he says he haven't seen him and we look and look around and waited for hours and honestly I couldn't go to the office that day cuz I just felt that hes not coming back. My Maltese dog was gone after 14 months being in my life I just kept looking and asking and gone to the vet and asked the animal friends clubs we had in my country and no use. I can say I did give up 6 month's later hoping he's not dead and hes well taken care of or maybe one day he comes back it just made me feel so lonely and sad to loose him. My mom told me he walked in to ur life for a reason and left it for a reason... more than 2 years since he's gone I still didn't figure out what that reason is... all I can think of that I want my fluffy back :(
