Maltese Yorkie Rescue - Gyllie

by Loren
(Alabama)

The Gyllie

The Gyllie

Gyllie is a 7.5 lb Maltese Yorkie rescue dog who came to us through the cruelty of someone dumping her near a creek in the rural area where my sister lives. I scheduled an appointment with the vet to have our Morkie spayed & all shots the next week. I was told she is about 5 years old and I believe she had been bred several times. Also, she is blind in her right eye, which looks as though it might have been injured at some time. We don't know why she was abandoned, but I am so glad to have her in the family. She is housebroken, loves to cuddle, does not bark often, does not shed, and is a delight. We carry her practically everywhere!! Several people have told us she must be a Maltese Yorkie mix so I decided to look it up. I am so delighted to have this little dog.

Thank you
by: Susan

I just wanted to say thank you for being so wonderful to take in an abused dog. I don't understand people anymore and the cruel things they do to animals who are so loving and caring. I have several friends who have adopted rescues and they are receiving unconditional love in return and these babies have the happiest looks on their faces. I think they know what a second chance they were given. Gyllie is adorable and I have a Maltese/Yorkie mix "Morkie" her name is Belle and she just turned 3 yrs. I also have a male Maltese Sammy who will be 1 tomorrow and I wouldn't part with either one. If fact we are thinking of adding another to our little family. I belong to a forum called "MalteseTalk.com and we welcome people with all dogs. Most of our members have Maltese or Maltese mixes. It is one of the friendliest and most fun forums I have ever seen. We are a small group and the members are like family. We talk about our babies and alot of other things too. It's fun and you can find answers to everything plus we love to shop and share the things we find. You are so welcome to come and check out of forum and join if you like us. My user name is angeleyes and would love to see you there. I will warn you that we love to see pics of the "babies."
