Expected Size
by: Puppy lover

Hi there, my malti-poo is also 8 lbs at 16 weeks and I was wondering how much bigger your Marley got? I imagine Marley is full size (or almost) by now. Thanks for your help!

Marley Update
by: Lorraine

Marley went visiting and came back with FLEAS. I have picked 3 fleas off of her so far. After a bath and flea treatment she is still so itchy. The bath dries out her skin so much that it gets all flaky. I give her fish oil in her food every morning and after a few days she stops scratching. I feel so bad for her.

Yes Susan, I was worried about the same thing so I did get a seat belt harness for my furbaby too.

Marley riding in car
by: Susan

Lorraine,
Marley is so cute I love taking my little Morkie Belle with me in the car too. I tried putting her in her small travel kennel so she didn't jump around but, she kept getting car sick. Then I found a car seat harness for her. Belle only weighs 6 pounds at 7 months so I worry about her if I had an accident.(must be all my years working on an ambulance. Belle wears a harness when we go out (it's a little pink vest that her arms go into and it fastens at the top) The travel harness fastens to that and then to the front or rear seat belt. She is free to stand, sit or lay down but I don't worry about her getting thrown from the car or into the windshield. Just a safety thought from a loving puppy mommy. Have fun in your trips.
