This little pup is born from a Maltese dad and Pug mom.... so absolutely GORGEOUS!

She has fluffy hair like a Maltese and is small like one... but is heavy and comical like a Pug.

My Malti/Pug

I just wanted to share with you that I have a MaltiPug that was born on April 21, 2009 and he is smartest and sweetest dog I have ever owned.

My baby looks like a Pug only with longer hair. We have him groomed to keep the shedding down. Do not be fooled, these dogs do shed, but I guess it depends on their genes.

I was lucky enough to get mine from a fellow co-worker, but please check your local shelters..

i love my new puppy

I was looking for a small breed dog and came upon a ad for a Maltese/Pug mix and feel in love with the picture. Now he is a pert of our family and I couldn't ask for a more loving and sweet puppy. We have a 100lb roti mix that is 3 years old and they get along great, the cat doesn't even mind the new addition. I feel so blessed to have found my little guy and would tell anyone looking that they are smart cute funny and a cuddly little mix and would be a great addition to any family!

I have a Maltipug named Ca$h (6months old), who is an adorable little best friend for my 16month old little girl, Scarlett. He is a wonderful tempremented little fellow who is incredibly patient and willing to please. Ca$h is smooth coated with a squashed up little face and black ears. He resembles a pug more so than a maltese. He was the only on in the litter who was not fluffy! Highly recommend this breed.

For those wishing to adopt a malti-pug....if you would consider an older puppy or adult, you might want to check the pug rescues. Because the dog will most likely NOT fit the maltese rescue criteria, pug rescue takes in puggy type doggies. Just an idea for all of you :-)

to find a real maltese through rescue. There really are not that many, certainly not enough for the number of people wanting one. I found that rescues try and identify a dog by it's looks...but they just guess. So, yes go to a rescue first to find a dog, there are many great dogs out there AND then OWNERS/ADOPTERS are the ones that need to be responsible. They take the puppy or dog in and make a committment to it's life and THEY need to uphold that committment and not through it away. Breeders need to screen buyers and enforce contracts.

I HAVE A 7-8 MONTH OLD MALT-PUG MALE HE IS SMALL LIKE A MALTESE AND HAS A COAT LIKE THAT OF A MALTESE.I JUST HAD HIM GROOMED AND HE KIND OF RESEMBLES A POODLE IN A WAY. VERY GOOD DOG GREAT WITH KIDS.

Thanks for all the comments! This litter of puppies were so adorable! So many people wanted me to have more....but I did not. To the ones with malti-pugs: you should submit your adult photos to Maltese Maniac and dogbreedinfo.com so everyone can see what the look like grown. I was sad to not hear from my babies after they went to their new homes :-(

By accident my 6 lb. Maltese got pregnant by a 18 lb. Pug. I am afraid she may be harmed by the delivery. Has anyone had a female Maltese diliver Pug mixes? If so, how many babies should I expect.

We have a fawn pug, and love her to pieces, but she is starting to get old, and would love to have one of these instead of another full bred pug. Do they shed much and are they OK with allergies?? My pug sheds a lot and I want something that doesn't shed.

we have four lovely little ones for sale around middle july!! 2 boys and 2 girls we are in leitrim ireland if any one is interested
one is all white with coloured ears, one is white with brown patches, two are brown pug colours and one of these looks like its going to have long hair the other three seem to have the pug coat.

Oh wow! You have such a very pretty dog!

I've always wanted a Maltese but when I saw the pug puppy my boyfriend bought - I fell in love with it too!

Now I know what I'd get when I finally get my own dog once I move to a place that allows pets.

I have 2 malti pugs and just love them to bits. The are hard to come by in Australia where I live. Mine are white and long haired with bits of tan and black, Yours is adorable and love the colours.
