I live in Westchester, New York. I am looking to buy or adopt a new born multipug puppy. Unfortunatley, I don't know where to start. to find a real maltese through rescue. There really are not that many, certainly not enough for the number of people wanting one. I found that rescues try and identify a dog by it's looks...but they just guess. So, yes go to a rescue first to find a dog, there are many great dogs out there AND then OWNERS/ADOPTERS are the ones that need to be responsible. They take the puppy or dog in and make a committment to it's life and THEY need to uphold that committment and not through it away. Breeders need to screen buyers and enforce contracts.

Thanks for all the comments! This litter of puppies were so adorable! So many people wanted me to have more....but I did not. To the ones with malti-pugs: you should submit your adult photos to Maltese Maniac and dogbreedinfo.com so everyone can see what the look like grown. I was sad to not hear from my babies after they went to their new homes :-(

one is all white with coloured ears, one is white with brown patches, two are brown pug colours and one of these looks like its going to have long hair the other three seem to have the pug coat.
