Playful Maltichon - Niro

My gorgeous little Maltichon Niro has just turned 1 and resembles the Maltese much more than the Bijon. His hair has no curl but is much fluffier than a Maltese's, and he is the same size as a Maltese, but does resemble a Bichon in his face.

He is playful and loving, but is prone to some naughty habits, ie stealing things and running around with them, and chewing pillows and other things. He loves to go for long walks, barking at his lead none stop every morning until I take him out, and even after an hour walk he will start to moan for another walk when we get home.

He is fantastic with other dogs and children, although doesn't seem to realize his size when trying to play fight with bigger dogs! He is very yappy, he will bark when he's happy, when he's sad, basically most of the day. I have an brilliant bond with Niro and he will always come when called, on my arrival home from work he will jump 5 feet in the air into my arms.

We have a fenced off garden which is available to him at any time, in the summer he will spend all his time in the garden, but in winter he will only go out for the toilet or when he hears next door's dog's barking.

This little dog has the most energy I have ever seen in any breed and is a pleasure to have, I love him to bits.
