Bodhi - Maltese Shi Tzu mix

Bodhi the Maltese Shi Tzu mix came to us from a customer when she needed to rehome him due to medical issue, he was 3 1/2 years old. In the beginning...he would run and not come to us, didn't listen at all. NOW, 4 yrs later he is a great listener (I swear he knows English) He is the happiest little guy. Loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. Loves to go on walks and car rides. Rarely barks. Gives a little sneeze as a yes when you ask him a question. He will dance, sit lay down and hi five. He sleeps with us, but has also been in a kennel.

He loves everyone he meets, but is picky about other canines. I've had to restrain him (pick him up) to keep him from attacking another dog on a walk. He will lift his leg in other peoples houses, ugggh, but has never had an accident in ours. He can swim, likes to swim, but will not go out of his way to get in the water unless a ball at the beach is involved. He LOVES the boat. He does not shed but his coat requires grooming/shaving every 6-8 weeks. Bodhi prances when he is on a walk and the main thing someone new will say about Bodhi is, "he is a happy dog!"
