H20 and Peroxide for Eye Stain

Safe effective and inexpensive! The cotton pads cost more than the peroxide. BTW, always buy the smallest bottle of peroxide you can find. You also need a child's toothbrush and or an eyelash comb.

Wet a pad with peroxide and wipe down stained area, wetting the stained hair. No problem if a drop gets in doggy's eye, won't bother her. IF she has a plugged tear duct, this may open it up. Let the peroxide do its job, let it sit there and soften up any solids. Then use lash comb or toothbrush on the stained hair.

No rinse required. Once the peroxide gives up the e tra molecule its only water! Might as well take another pad and do doggy's butt and under the tail!

I'm an RN, did wound care for 30 years, peroxide is great stuff! You can use this treatment daily until stain is gone. Then only when needed.

If there is any skin irritation under the staining, use just the tiniest bit of CLEAR triple antibiotic ointment. You want the CLEAR, NOT WHITE. White is a cream, does not protect skin, clear is an ointment, DOES protect skin.

You will see big changes in a few hours after first treatment. I found that I needed to wait for the worst stains to grow out, and snip them!
