Louis

Louis is 12 weeks old and already is home smart! He sleeps all day as he knows he needs to save his energy for when the kids get home from school that he will chase them around the house until they all are exhausted. He sleeps through the night after devouring a bowl of cooked chicken, beef or lamb (and just like the kids will nibble at the odd vegetable and rice).

Favourite toys are any stuffed ones (his girlfriend is the monkey). Empty water bottles, old socks and shoes keep him entertained for hours. With so much fur (have not seen him shed any yet), he sleeps hot, so I always put a frozen water bottle in his bed and this to Louis is heaven. My friend made a sock attached to a soft toy to keep it in.

Just like a new baby, if he hurts himself it is ten times worse than what it is. Apart from that, you don't hear a peep out of him. we love this mixed breed of dog so much and would recommend a Cavamalt to any family.
