Maltese Papillon Puppies - Bella Cutrone

Bella Cutrone the Maltese Papillon Puppy

Bella Cutrone the Maltese Papillon Puppy

Bella is one of the best Maltese Papillon puppies ever. She was born 9/17/07. She rarely barks, likes to run in circles and play with her squeaky toys. She fetches and plays tug of war.

Car rides are something she enjoys while sitting quietly buckled in her carrier. Her only bad habit is occasionally shredding her wee wee pad into bits and pieces. Bella loves people and has a great personality!

I never would have considered myself a dog person before my family got Bella, but now, I have been converted! Bella is the cutest and most well behaved puppy I've ever met. I'm so glad that she's a part of our family!

Maltese Papillon Puppies - Zoey

by Brittany
(Virginia)

I bought one of the best Maltese Papillon puppies Zoey from a family member about 4 months ago. Zoey is 5 months old this month and she is very loving. She loves to play with our 3 year old Blue Heeler and Shepard mix. She is the one who plays rough not him. She still barks at everything and anything but she stops win told.

We are still working on housing breaking her but she is getting better. I wouldn't trade our Maltese Papillon puppy for any other dog in the world, she is like a little child.

Maltese Papillon Puppies - Leo

My Papitese Leo is almost eleven months and weighs about twelve pounds. I adopted him at three months old. My Maltese Papillon puppies very affectionate and always happy. He gets very hyper at times.

He is a real friendly cute lovable Maltese Papillon puppy but at times he likes to play bite and chew on anything. Every morning I wake up with him giving me kisses. When he gets excited his ears stand up.

Maltese Papillon Puppy - Adam

by Dawn
(Illinois)

We have had our Maltese Papillon puppy for a week now, he is 5 months old and we got him from a Breeder. He is really very shy with people but is learning that other dogs and cats are o.k. playmates. He is very bright and will probably do well in puppy school. I am hoping that school will help with his social skills and trust with people. He took to the crate at night for sleeping very well and actually prefers it.

He has a play area for when we are not home and except for the initial howling when I first leave, he seems to be o.k. with that as well. My Papitese puppy is learning that going potty outside is a good thing and that is still a work in progress. He has a toy box full of toys but has only a few "favorites" that get played with. Car rides are better now that he has a Sherpa soft side travel carrier. I think he feels more secure and I can carry him like a purse when needed. At 5.4 lbs, he probably weighs less than my purse anyway.

Maltese Papillon Puppies - Curley Sue

by Lisa
(Commack, NY, USA)

Curley Sue

Curley Sue

One of the cutest Maltese Papillon puppies, Curley Sue was born on May 31, 2010. We first saw her when she was 7 weeks old and fell in love. She is loving and playful. She is wonderful with my children as well as our 11 year old Lab.

She had a hard time adjusting to the crate but after 2 nights, she sleeps through the night and is mostly potty trained. She goes outside or on a pee-pee pad in the house, if we are away. Our Maltese Papillon puppy is an early riser (@6:30am) which I am adjusting to but otherwise, she is a wonderful addition to our family.

Maltese Papillon Puppy - Cubby Comanche

by Elizabeth
(Southwest)

Our Maltese Papillon puppy has a sweet temperament, getting bigger daily it seems! We are having much trouble with housebreaking him. Just not computing... He is about 5 months old.
We go out all the time, but he usually justs stands or runs and looks at us, but no peepee, poopoo. Then he'll go soon after IN the house.

I'm getting worried what age is best for boys to be "fixed", have heard all different answers for that. Our Maltese Papillons black/while, floppy ears, that sometimes get stuck folded back... very sweet fellow.

Possible potty training
by: Cricket's mom

We have a maltese-papillon who is three years old. We were lucky that Cricket was quite easy to train. We started with the paper ones and she did ok, but they were expensive and she would sometimes tear them up or drag them around. Then I was on a pet store website and saw these rewashable pads called Pooch Pads, I bought two. She took to them very well. They have a scent that is supposed to attract dogs, but I found where she had an accident and blotted up the wet spot with one. She still uses them and they absorb and wash well. It might help to put them in a little tray so he sees that as the only place to go. I think once he smells his scent on a potty pad, he will understand after a while. Good luck!

fast forward 3 months
by: Elizabeth

It's Elizabeth again, and our Cubby Comanche is Still not totally house broken.
At the breeders he was Never put on yard, grass she said. So here he just doesn't connect that is where to go!
Please anyone, do you think a litter box, or a sand box would become his place to go, consistently?
We need help with this. He doesn't have a way of letting us know he needs to pee pee or poop either, no signal.
Appreciate comments..
thanks...
He has not be "fixed" yet, and will soon be 7 months old. He doesn not ever raise a leg to pee. I notice he does Not seem to drink much water, I have to really encourage him.

Papillon Maltese Puppy - Quico

by Rachel
(Denver, Colorado)

Quico (key-co)

Quico (key-co)

Quico is the most playful Papillon Maltese puppy. He is almost 3 months old. He is the greatest gift my hubby has ever given me. Quico is a really spoiled pup, when I get home from shopping he follows me to see what is for him. I have read around to see what other people have to say about the Papitese mix breed, Quico is very smart. He is already puppy pad trained. He's only had a few accidents. He will not make messes in his kennel. He has truly become my best friend. Loving, playful and loyal. I do not have a problem with him barking. He hardly ever does. I can expect him to follow me every where I go. Quico is my new shadow. I think my Papitese puppy is the most sweetest little fuzzy wuzzy ever.

Maltese Papillon Puppies - Trinket and Chloe

by Gina
(Westminster, MD)

Trinket and Chloe

Trinket and Chloe

I bought Trinket (at 12 weeks old) from a friend of my sister-in-law who owns a pet store. I had such a tough time deciding between such adorable Maltese Papillon puppies! There were 3 little girls: 1 was crazy and running around everywhere. 1 was cowering in a corner.

And then there was Trinket! She sat and watched "Ms. Crazy", then joined in the fun. When I picked her up, she climbed up a little higher and gave me a super hug. We sent a photo to my daughter to help me decide and she liked the shy one better, so the next evening, after a lot of begging her dad, she went back and bought Chloe.

Now they are 4 months old, and Chloe (tan & white) has gotten much larger than Trinket. They are the sweetest little things. They get along with other dogs, kids, everyone. They have started barking a little at neighborhood noises, joggers, visitors. Mainly when they want to play with someone who isn't paying enough attention to them!

They are slowly learning not to chew shoes, furniture and houseplants, but they steal a piece of mulch from my flower beds every time they go past them! They are learning "sit", "down", "stay", etc. really quickly. My Papitese puppies wrestle and play every second they aren't sleeping. Even mealtimes turn into games and competitions.
They have the double coat and seem to like being groomed and tolerate baths well (no matted fur yet). They are shedding a bit. Chloe's ears are perked up all the time now, and Trinket perks hers when she is really alert, but most of the time they are still down.

We love these little girls so much and can't imagine life without them.

Pet store puppies
by: Nancy

Please tell your friends NOT to buy puppies from pet stores. Most of their puppies come from HORRIBLE puppy mills where the mothers are breed every time they come into heat, receive little or no medical care and are often killed when they no longer "produce".These animals deserve so much better...Buy from reputable breeders who will take the puppy back if it doesn't work out.

Chloe's my puppy
by: Bethany

Grandma is always trying to steal her. I love my papitese she is a fast learner and so lovable. I would reccomend this kind of dog for any kind of family. I can take Chloe to my school (where i am a two year old teacher) and she loves the kids. She also loves playing with trinket but she likes other dogs too.
P.S. she only has one ear up now. lol.

It doesn't get any cuter than a Papitese!

Bentley is the best Papitese puppy in the world!!! Everyone loves him because he is so handsome. He loves to go anywhere you go and can entertain himself with anything he finds. At 12 weeks Bentley weighed less than 1 lb and at 6 months he weighed 1lb and 4oz. People said he would never be healthy but he is the happiest, smartest and most energetic puppy I have ever owned!
