My Maltese Silky dog Daphne is probably the best dog that I have ever owned! She is so smart and does many tricks. She really loves people too. She always greets visitors with a smile. She plays along with my nephews like she is one of them!
Daphne was a little difficult to potty train, but once I started using treats, she quickly caught on. She'll do anything for a treat! Daphne also likes the water. She loves swimming in baby pools and going to the beach. She even fetches in the water.
She weighs about 16 pounds and she has long, silky hair. We keep her hair trimmed short most of the time because it gets easily matted because it is so fine. Daphne is a great dog and I would definitely recommend Maltese Silky dogs to anyone!

My Maltese Silky dog mix weighs 12 Lbs., has big brown eyes, is almost all white with a little strawberry blonde on the ears and tail. He sheds very little. The sweetest little boy you'd ever meet. I adopted him from a shelter where he had been tossed over their fence on cold and rainy night. He tested heart worm positive and had an undescended testicle. He has now recovered from all his medical problems and is beautiful. He gets along great with my female toy poodle... although she is truly the boss. If you are looking for a very pretty and sweet Maltese mix you cannot go wrong with one.

When him bought him we had papers to show that he was a pure Maltese. But he kept growing and is a hefty 20 lbs. and we realise that he must be a mixed breed Maltese Silky Cocker. He is the dearest pet we've ever had---- faithful, obedient, patient, loving, a real angel. Whatever breed he is, he's perfect!!!!!
