Papillon Mix - Otie

My Maltese Papillon mix Otie is the sweetest, cutest, most loving dog I have ever met. He is funny, well mannered, easy to train, and a joy to have around. He is the perfect size, about 8 lbs, and loves to just hang out on our lap or on our shoulder.

He is extremely social, and when he approaches somebody, his entire body wags with his beautiful tail. He belongs to my daughter; but when I am ready for a dog ( have 2 cats who are not as in love with Otie as I am), I will look for another Papitese.

He does not shed much, and only barks when he sees squirrels, or his other dog buddies, or dogs on t.v. I used to be a Golden Retriever kind of a person, but smaller has advantages. So many people ask what breed he is, and want one just like him.

Papillon Mix - Bella Grace

Bella Grace is a 6 months old Maltese Papillon mix and weighs 8 pounds. She is my adorable little love bug.

She follows me everywhere and has lots of energy. She loves toes. I got her some tiny dog sized tennis balls at petsmart and she loves them. She also loves to play tug of war with her rope. She is excellent with kids and hardly ever barks.

I've had trouble house breaking my Maltese Papillon but I'm hoping it will click for her soon. I call her my little P.I.T (Princess In Training):) I wanted a little lap dog and she is just that. I would recommend this mixed breed to anyone.

Papillon Mix - Mollie

Our Maltese Papillon mix Mollie has been with our family since 2-25-11 and I can't imagine life without her. She is so precious and doing very well potty training. She loves outside and is already sleeping thru the night. Our Maltese Papillon puppy was born on 1-2-11 and weighs 3.5 pounds.

What am I?

Tell me if this dog is a Papitese aka Maltese Papillon mix. She was a rescue, so we don't know her parents. She is obviously part Maltese but those ears, which wiggle and fold down too, look like Papillon to me. She is very sweet. She has this funny way of going to the bathroom, since she must spin around about 30 times before she squats. When she was in the shelter, she was sticking her head out the hole for the water dish, just looking for someone to take her home. We have 3 rescued dogs but she acts like she may have come from a puppy mill because when we put a plate down with food, she pushes the other 2 out and literally vacuums the plate in no time. I have no use for people who run puppy mills and hope someday they all get shut down. Her hair is not as silky soft like a Maltese but has some coarseness to it, especially when it gets long. Whatever she is, she is high spirited, loving and very sweet.

Papillon Mix - Abby

Abby is a little Maltese Papillon mix love bug who wants to be with us always. She is just one year old, and has been easy to train. Abby picks up on things quick when we are teaching her a new trick.

She is our little sweetheart. I really can't say enough good about her. We love our Maltese Papillon to pieces.... Abby is about 7.5 lbs and is the right size to take just about everywhere.

Do you think I'm a Papitese

Do you think I am a Papitese? I am not sure if I am a Papitese because I came from a shelter. My mom thinks I am. I know from looking at myself that I am part Maltese. I am very sweet but a little stubborn too. My hair is not as silky as a Maltese but that may be from the other breed. What do you think I am? I love to sit and look out the window, watching for deer. If I can get out, I will chase them and then mom and dad are unhappy because I disobeyed.

Gus Gus is 10 months old and weighs 5 pounds. He loves to be where the people are. He is very smart and only barks at strangers, and at odd noises at night. He also doesn't shed much and is very clean.

Papillon Mix - Sadie

Sadie is a 5 month old Maltese Papillon mix. She weighs 3.3 pounds. She's mostly white with beige ears that lay down most of the time. Her ears used to stand up all the time but when she got her full rabies vaccination, they started laying down. (By the way, she loves to try to get to her tags on her collar and chew on them).

Sadie is so affectionate and loves to be cuddled. She also is very playful and can wear you out pretty easily. If you are not watching, Sadie will climb to the top of our furniture and has actually jumped down from there (more than four feet).

She's still teething so when she gets too hyper she will bite. We always try to have a toy close by so she bites on that instead of us. We also discovered that a soothing soft voice and gentle pet or rub gets her to calm down and stop biting. Also, she loves ice cubes!

We take our Maltese Papillon mix to our local pet store frequently and they make over her so much! I get a cart and she rides on the baby seat part standing on top of my purse and just wags her tail at everyone and has a great time with all the people who come up to her.

She is adorable!
