Pug Mixes - Pugsley and Polly

Polly and Pugsley

Polly and Pugsley

My Malti-Pugs or Maltese Pug mixes, have the best personality and are like children, They are loving, and give great joy with their outgoing funny ways.

They play well together and very protective of their family, the female is very protective and gets jealous at times but never bites or gets nasty she just pushes her way in and lets others know who is boss.

I love them to bits and wouldn't hesitate to have more in my life.

Lovely, and almost make me cry NEW
by: Jing Ji

When I searched pics for Maltese-Pug mix, I did not see any of them like my own until this one caught my sight. They look so resembling to my lately deceased little sister Chouchou.
Chouchou came into my life when I was 14 and left when she was 14.5, covering more than half of my life. She was adorable and beautiful, with a strong but lovely personality just exactly like the female you described here. I always refer her as " the queen" or "empress dowager at home" I can also upload her pic to this website later.
It is very reassuring to see Pugsley and Polly here. Previously I can only infer in various ways that my Chouchou was a Maltese-Pug mix. This pic confirmed my deduction. More importantly, it makes me feel like seeing her again, whom I thought there was no one look like. Lisa, if you can read this, may I ask for more pics of them? I can be reached at jijing87@126.com. It would be a great gift and cure for me. I can also send you pics of if you like. Moreover, I am not sure if it is proper to ask, do Pugsley and Polly have their own puppies? Do you know how Pugsley and Polly are mixed (mother by Maltese or Pug)? As I see there could be various outcomes when Maltese and Pug are mixed, that's why your pic is so are and precious for me. I suppose if Pugsley and Polly have kids, they are very likely to resemble the parents. I am planning to have such mixes again, there features are just so adorable. I also want to continue my love for Chouchou.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Wish you and your family the best.

Sincerely,
Jings

Pug Mixes - Daffney

by Michelle
(Kansas City MO.)

My Maltese Pug mix is the sweetest little dog I have ever owned. Pug mixes are amazing!!!! She is very smart, easy to train, and has quite the personality. When I got her I wasn't sure what to expect, she was an OOOPS litter and was black. She was the last one of the litter and free because no one wanted her. That I'll never understand. She was darling as a puppy and beautiful as she grows up. She is great with other dogs, so easy to travel with, makes friends where ever she goes. Kids always are drawn to her and she is never cross. I have been so lucky to have this little girl.

Huckleberry

by Julie
(Victoria, Australia)

Huckleberry is the sweetest, friendliest little Maltese Pug mix ever! My son and I are resident managers in a retirement village and the residents here love our little MUG as much as we do. He is incredibly smart - he sits in the office with me during the day and he knows by sight if a person is a resident here or not! The residents get kisses and the non residents get barks and are definitely not allowed close enough to pet him!

He even knows the sound that individual cars make - when my mother or father come to visit (who he absolutely adores) he is going crazy at the door before they have barely turned into the driveway. No mean feat when you consider that the entrance is about 200 meters away from the door AND around a corner!

Huck was amazingly easy to toilet train, took us about 3 days with no crate, just repeat and reward. He is very social and loves visiting and playing with the other dogs in residence at the village. His favourite game is playing 'hide and retrieve', where we sneak up on him to steal his toys and then hide them under cushions and blankets for him to dig through and find. He would play it for hours if we let him.
Huckleberry's first love is probably food though, much as we would rather think it was US...he would eat non stop 24/7 if allowed to (which he isn't. Fortunately we live upstairs so he gets plenty of exercise running up and down the stairs during the day to keep him from getting too fat.

Maltese Pug Mix - Pugsley

by Caroline
(Quebec)

Meet Pugsley the Malti-Pug! Pugsley is an 8 month old, 5.5 lbs, Maltese Pug mix and one happy puppy. He is beige with medium hair and has a cute scruffy look. His mom is a gorgeous Maltese and his dad is a small, only 8 lbs Pug.

Pugsley his exceptional around kids. He is very relaxed, he never jumps or barks. They can do anything with him! My daughter dresses him up, pushes him around in the stroller...she even put a diaper on him once!

He is also great with every animal he meets, he is our kitty Smittens's best friend! He also gets along fantastic with my grandmother's puppy Maggie, a beautiful 4.5 lbs Maltese x Yorkshire. (I would like to tell you more about that funny girl sometimes)! We are very happy with our tiny Malti-Pug: Pugsley is awesome! We could not have found a better puppy!

UPDATE: Pugsley needs a new home! Please contact me if you would like to adopt him: cc2508@live.ca

Pug Mixes - Curly Joe

by Caroline
(Kentucky)

Our little cool dude, Curly!

Our little cool dude, Curly!

I took one look at our Maltese Pug mixes tail curling up over his back and decided the appropriate name for him would be Curly. The Joe got added later on. Curly Joe, is 13 years old and still going strong. We welcomed him to our home as a puppy. At the time we picked him out, he seemed to be the shy puppy of the litter, keeping to himself. Boy, did his personality change when we got him home. He doesn't like cats and gave our siamese a difficult time from the day we brought him home.

Our Maltese Pug mix is a great watch dog and seems a bit agressive when someone new comes around but we have figured out that is his way of introducing himself as he loves people. He likes children and is very gentle around them. He is very smart, easily trainable but has a stubborn streak. He is my husband's best friend and actually seems to get depressed when my husband leaves the house. He is very loyal and wants to sit in my husband's lap all the time. The most annoying thing about him is he licks non-stop. His favorite things to lick are my husbands feet and our Chihuahua's ears. He loves to wear clothes and seems really proud when we dress him up.
