What is the Best Puppy Food for a Maltese Yorkie?

I'm looking for information on what is the best too feed my Maltese Yorkie. She is ten weeks old. Should I buy cat food as she seems too have no biting power. I must mash any puppy chow right now, just feeding her canned soft food. I would like to get her on a most healthy diet. Please help! I live in Canada so need something that is available here. Thanks!

I have a Morkie and a new 13 weeks Maltese. I start them on Royal Canin #33 for Mini Puppies. I graduate to Nutro Small Bites.

Do not use Science Diet. It is full of crap! Look for foods that have meat as the first ingredient, NO by-products, corn, wheat, bad preservatives, or unnecessary fillers.

I recommend a Science Diet puppy food. They have formulas specifically for small breed puppies and they have a brand called Nature's Best which is a natural dog food including fruits and vegetables. Both have tiny kibble a little smaller than a pea. Our 3 year old maltese mix could eat the tiny kibble at 8 weeks old. Most premium brands have small kibble puppy foods, just check and see which one you might prefer. If you go to Science Diet's website, you might be able to get a coupon. You might also want to go on a Petsmart or Petco website and see the different kinds and read reviews. Good luck!

My morkie puppies love Organix Puppy food as well as Wellness Puppy Food. They are now adults and love Wellness Small Breed :)
