Bichon Mix - Beauregard "Bo"

Bo is a Maltese Bichon mix and a little over 2 years old. He is the most wonderful little guy! He sleeps around my head at night, unfortunately he sometimes chews my hair! I have taught him to say "I Love you" and he housetrained very easily.

I went and purchased him while my husband was away on business. We were supposed to "never have another dog" but when I picked him up at the airport, I had Bo with me, who at the time weighed 4 lbs, and his new daddy fell in love with him immediately.

Bo likes to run away from us (our fault) so we had a fence installed. He also will automatically go in his kennel when we ask him if he wants a treat. If the door is closed, he will nose it open. He also hides rawhide bones all over the house and know where they all are! We love love love our Maltese Bichon mix very much!

Bichon Mix - Wally

He is the best dog. Can't remember what life was like without him. I never knew what unconditional love was until I had my Maltese Bichon mix Wally.

Wally is a worker dog. He comes to work with me everyday at a retirement home. The ladies love him. One woman plays with him, another watches him while I go to dinner and yet another writes him secret admirer notes.

Wally "writes" notes about how his weekend was and now he has many of the ladies waiting in line to read his latest news.

He walks with a bit of a "sway" and always seems to be smiling and is so happy. I think he enjoys knowing that he is never alone and that he always has a friends lap to sit on.

In the snow he jumps around like a bunny rabbit. He loves going out at night to eat snow and play in it. He however does not like water or rain. He especially dislikes baths.

Wally is a super dog and is now one year old. I love Sir Wally.

Rescued Bichon Mix - Piper

We rescued our tiny Maltese Bichon mix Piper in early September. She has gained 4 pounds since then, had most of her teeth removed due to decay and infection and is a love!

We have a 6 1/2 year old Shih Tzu Howie who had anxiety when we went to church or the store. He right away liked smaller Piper and they enjoy having each other and going on long walks together and sleeping up on our bed at night.

Piper is about 9 years old and was abandonded. She is now bright, alert, playful and so very loving!! We cannot imagine life with out our Maltese Bichon mix!!!

Bichon Mix - Frostie

We got my Maltese Bichon mix Jenny, now named Frostie, as a rescue. I was told that she was a Bichon, but her coat was not that of a Bichon at all! She has a Bichon tail and a body of a Bichon but her coat is soft a slightly curly and her snoot is slightly longer than that of a Bichon. Also, no undercoat like a Bichon.

Her temperament is excellent!! Extremely playful and loving! She was and still is Pee Pad trained. So when it rains she does not have to get wet and dirty. In fact, when I take her out she only plays and then comes inside to do her business. She loves to "mouth" you and NEVER bites. When I say OW.. she stops and starts licking.

One bad habit that she does have is that she likes to shred things. Other than that she is perfect!! What a gift from God!! I don't know how anyone could have let such a cute loving pet escape from their home. I am sure glad that I have her. She is the BEST!!

Bichon Mix - Apollo

My Maltese Bichon mix Apollo is now 9 years old, and is my little buddy. He loves attention ad sleeps on my lap. When sleeping at night he sleeps on his own pillow beside me. He doesn't like to be left alone and will bark and cry the whole time.

He acts mad at me for awhile if I go to pay bills or get groceries and have to leave him be for an hour. This makes it hard when we go to a restaurant, he just gets so upset and hates to be alone. My Maltese Bichon is a precious little guy.

He's very smart has learned to do some pretty amazing things on his own. He weighs 5 and a half pounds very tiny, but so beautiful! He is a little bundle fur and big eyes.

You need to have a lot of time and energy to devote to him and he seems to prefer women then he does men. I have had him now since he was 5 weeks old.

Bichon Mix - Sissy

On January 8th my Maltese Bichon mix will be 3 years old. She is very loving and very loyal to the entire family. She is very protective of the house. Not a big barker, but will definitely let me know if she hears something unnatural. She fallows me around the house and cries real tears when I have to leave her home. She is a mommies dog that's for sure. She has chosen me to be her person and I love it.

She does what I like to call her crazy dance when she wants attention. She squirms around on the floor with a little whine and will continue to do this until you pick her up and love on her. She loves to play with her little bunny angel and a soft pink furry ball. She loves to sleep on a pillow at the foot of the bed, but I some times wake up to her snuggling up to my stomach in the morning.

She is definitely a high class dog. Loves to be pampered and carried every where. My Maltese Bichon loves to be groomed and she loves taking bubble baths. She will sit there for hours biting at the bubbles. She does really well with my other dogs and the cats. She has become a very great house dog for me and my family.

Bichon Mix - Hannah Joey Morris

My Maltese Bichon mix dog is 4 1/2 years old, not only is she curious, smart, playful, and cute as a button. She is my best friend. I sometimes think she is 100% human. She is stubborn and when she makes up her mind she sticks with it.

When I come home from work her face is always in the window waiting for me, and when I walk through the door she always has her favorite baby in her mouth, almost like it is a gift especially for me. No matter how stressful my day is I can not help but smile, she brings so much happiness and joy to my life.

Hannah is very loyal to those she loves, she tries to be "tough" when she thinks we are being threatened but the reality is she wags her little tail and hides behind me, although if it is another dog she stands proud. The bigger the better. I think she is confused that she is part Rotty.

All I can say is she is what keeps me getting out of bed every single day. If you are alone in life Maltese Bichon mixes are the best mixed breed of dog in the world to give you endless companionship and laughter!

Bichon Mix - Chloe

My Maltese Bichon mix is very loving and playful. Friendly little dog who gets along well with others. Loves going for walks and chasing birds. My Maltichon loves her food, especially pigs ears. Chloe can be stubborn and from time to time, pulls on her lead and refuses to walk. She is easily cajouled into walking though.

Bichon Mix - Tanzie

Our Maltese Bichon mix Tanzie has a very clownish personality, a lot of people think she is a puppy for how much energy she has but she is actually nine years old. Tanzie is also very small only five pounds some ounces because she is the runt of a runt her father was a runt also. She isn't very sociable to other dogs because we didnt socialize her at a young age she loves humans of any age though and is just a scardy cat when it comes to other dogs. Our Maltichon is very intelligent and very well trained with hardly any work needed. My whole family loves her so much!
