My Love

Yesterday I had to put my beloved Maltese Pekingese mix Harley to sleep. He was absolutely the best companion that anyone could have. I had him for 16 years and I wouldn't trade one day of being his mother for anything. I never had kids so this was my Baby. I don't know how I will go on without him...

I have a maltese/Yorkie mix who is 11 years old, so I know the great love we have for these totally faithful little companions and understand your sadness. We can't know the love of these sweethearts without also suffering the great loss. I've been through that loss so many times in my life. It never gets easier and you will always miss them. I'm counting on our Heavenly Father to take good care of them and give them to us when we return home again.

I am so sorry about your baby Harley. 16yrs is an amazing amount of time together. I'm sure you have lots of wonderful memories. He is adorable!
