This Is My Chloe!!

I put my Morkie Chloe in this site when she was just 2 months old. She was suppose to be around 6 pounds, but is more like 10 or more. She is very smart, to smart at times.

When she was about 4 months old the same breeder wrote and said she had 2 Maltese puppies with under bites and I had toes missing in the back. I was going to give her to a friend, but they could not have a dog yet, so guess who has her:)

Her name is Miley and is only 5 pounds. They are so funny together. You would think the little one would be the cuddler but surprise Chloe is the cuddler. Miley is a girly girl and dresses up and bites my ankles when she wants something:)

biting and nipping

I have a 13 week old Morkie "Belle" her picture, although not a very good one is on this site as new. Belle has plenty of toys and rawhide to chew on but likes to chew daddy's fingers and grab clothes. We are working on it but she gets so excited to see him when he gets home from work. I am with her all day so she knows she can't get away with as much with mommy. When she does decide to bite or chew my hand, I try to just hold still (not easy with those sharp puppy teeth) I tell her firmly NO BITE. She is doing pretty good about catching on. When she grabs clothes, I take them out of her mouth and kind of hold her mouth shut for a second saying NO BITE. She doesn't like it and is quickly off to find something else to terrorize like her lab brother. She is also so cuddly when she wants to be or when she is sleepy. Belle weighs almost 4 pounds now so I'm not sure how big she will get. She is really a feminine little girl so hopefully she will stay small, either way we love her so much.

Bitter apple did not work with Chloe. But you are right it is so cute, so I just jump around yelling no no. It happens most of time when it is meal time though. But I do have little bite marks on the back of my legs.
There is a new posting on here today for Gizmo that looks just like Chloe now, because I just clipped her the other day. I wrote her also, because he looks like my chloe does now, except mine has a docked tail and hers has a Maltese tail. I sure hope your Anabella lives a long life and gives great loves and wonderful times like my Chloe has given me. I wish I could send you a picture of the way Chloe looked as a puppy because they could have been twins at that age. You will find as she grows what a great bred they are. They have the best of both breeds!!

Aww, look at Chloe! I love the dropped ear on our Morkies; I think it's what makes them extra cute,(compared to a Yorkie...but I am biased).
Two doggies! We were so tempted to also purchase a bulldog pup, who had been at the pet store for too long, when we bought Annabella, but I did not think I could handle two pups, and all the training, at the same time. We think next year will be a good time to add to our family. (or maybe summer).
Your new baby nips at your heels when she wants something? How lucky are you! Annabelle is a major nipper, and biter. And I am having trouble not getting mad when I keep getting hurt! I am on a bitter apple quest, today. I just counted it out, and she is 12-1/2 weeks old today. She has plenty of chew toys...any advice?
Oh, and she is not from Ohio; we bought her in Hesperia, but her papers say she was born in Arkansas. But you never know they could be related : )

We love this story! We are 2 Maltese dogs, and we are also Maltese Maniacs, and we just love this post. We are so glad that you have these two doggies. Also, LuLu is 5 pounds and LoLLy is 9, but LoLLy says if you want to weigh less just lie about your weight. We spend our spare time raising money and awareness about rescue dogs, because LoLLy was a rescue! Come visit us too! Love, Your PaLs, LuLu and LoLLy!

Maltese Mix Yorkie Puppy - Bauer

My first car ride

My little Maltese mix Yorkie puppy Bauer is 7 weeks old and has broke out of his shell. He is adorable with feisty mood swings. At this very moment he is Nocturnal. He sleeps during the day and wants to play at night. He is like a baby but I love it. It doesn't bother me at all.

We have a 16 month y/o baby in the house and he is great with her. We had one incident involving the length of his nails and he was playing with her and accidentally scratched her. Other than that, he loves playing with her and her toys.

He has many Yorkie characteristics to include his friendly but aggressiveness. Overall he is our child and is very smart.

Nipping feet NEW

Slap a ruler against the counter top or wall. The noise will divert their attention and they stop. Nipping or biting of hands, whimper like you are hurt and crying, this bothers them as they don't want to hurt you, whine, or whimper each time
