Maltese Pomeranian Mix - Olivia

by Les Stammers
(Adelaide South Australia)

Come on dad just try get my teddy i dere you

Hi I have a Maltese Pomeranian mix or Maltipom and she is 12 years old now, and the best thing I have ever done was to acquire her. Olivia was the runt of litter and she is so cute, and sleeps on my pillow and will not sleep her basket if I am in bed. She will just stand at the side of the bed and bark until I pick her up.

From when we first got here if we travel in the car she will insist on sitting on my lap or across my shoulders and be my head rest, some of the looks I get are priceless. My Maltese Pomeranian mix is the most fussy eater, her favorite meal is roast chicken, goodo's and a very few brands of dog food. She wants to play tug of war every morning whilst I am trying to get ready for work it is fantastic and a great way to start the day. If I was to pick up the car keys she will just sit by the door and watch me walk out. If on the way to the door I was to say the words come on then she will go ballistic and run to the car and wait for the door to be opened and she will sit on the hump in the middle until I get in and then its up on the shoulders.

Olivia also has certain mannerisms, like feed me I am hungry, pick me up I want a cuddle, or take me out for a wee, its just the way she looks at me and acts.

She will sit on my lap all night while I watch TV.
If we are going in the car or out to visit some one, she will go wee on the command "go wee's." I could go on and on, but my Maltipom is the most devoted and lovable pet I have ever had the pleasure of owning. She is very friendly and loves men.

Maltese Pomeranian Mix - Tika

by Kaley
(Calgary Alberta)

Tika at around 7 months old

Tika at around 7 months old

Tika is the best puppy in the world. She is 12 pounds now and about 10 months. Her father was a very large Pomeranian we were told that he was around 12 pounds. Her mother was a Maltese.

Tika never barks. She is very energetic but loves to cuddle. She is a VERY fast runner and she can outrun most dogs at the dog parks. She has beautiful coloring. She is grey, black, tan and white and has the most beautiful markings.

Tika is great with kids and adults. She loves to be around people and often follows us around the house everywhere.

Tika is a a great dog and I would suggest getting a Maltipom as an addition to your family!

Maltese Pomeranian Mix - Lilly

by Jacqueline S.
(Colonie NY, USA)

Lilly in the snow =D

Lilly in the snow =D

Lilly, my Maltese Pomeranian mix, is the best dog anyone could EVER wish for. She is so sweet and loves attention she loves laying on my couch and just being cuddled and wrapped in blankets!

My Maltese Pomeranian loves playing soccer outside and just being outside. Sometimes she does the funniest things in the world like do laps around the couch or doing what I like to call a "pattle wave" where she takes her paws when I'm holding her and wave them like shes running with her front paws (of course when I'm holding her like a little baby)

Lilly turned 1 on December 1st and she is the happiest little 1 year old I have ever seen I love my little Maltipom soooooooo much and she is the best thing that ever happened to me!

Maltese Pomeranian Mix - Prissy

by Sally Knight
(Greenwood, SC)

Our Maltese Pomeranian mix Prissy is 9 months old and weighs 7 1/2 pounds. She is FULL of energy and never tires of playing.

She was so easy to housebreak, and uses her puppy pads faithfully. She has her own car seat and loves to ride.

She is the light of our lives. Even though her Pom father is light tan, Prissy is solid white.

Maltese Pomeranian Mix - Bella

by Holly
(North Carolina)

My Maltese Pomeranian mix Bella is very sweet and willing to please. She is my little ballerina, standing on her back paws and twirling around. She loves laying on my lap, follows me around the house like a little shadow, and loves squeaking her "bear" toy and running around in circles when she gets excited. My Maltese Pomeranian reminds me of Peg off of Lady and the Tramp.

I just got my Maltese Pomeranian mix puppy yesterday. He is 2 months old. As soon as he got in the house he was very playful, he seemed very happy.

I just taught him yesterday where he had to poo and pee and this morning he did it himself. I though he was going to cry at night because most dogs do their first nights but he didn't He cried like 15 min. when we left him alone, but that was about it.

For now I'm really happy I got him. everyone in the family is in love with him. He's so adorable.

Maltese Pomeranian Mix - Sassafras

by Sheryle
(Arkansas)

Our litle Maltese Pomeranian mix Sassy is such a loving and very sweet natured little dog. We found Sassy and when we couldnt locate her owners we decided that she had already captured our hearts with her great personality.

It's amazing how one little dog can have so much love. Our Maltese Pomeranian nibbles on everything including people, it is so sweet. We also have a terrier mix and the two of them get along great. They love to play. They both sleep in the bed and in the morning I am awakened by lots of loves. I wouldn't trade my Maltese Pomeranian mix for anything.

Maltese Pomeranian Mix - Teddy

by Amy Campbell
(Chanhassen Minnesota)

What...?

What...?

My Maltese Pomeranian mix Teddy Bear is THE BEST!! I love him so much. I think he was chosen from God's personal stock and sent to me as my angel!! Super sweet, playful, loving and cuddling. You couldn't ask for anything more or better! He loves everyone and all living creatures. We go to the dog park almost everyday and he is the Dog Park Ambassador. He knows everyone and EVERYONE KNOWS HIM!!

He is sooooo cute! He is all white with a tinge of apricot on the back of his ears. My Maltese Pomeranian's ears can stand up or lay down depending on what he's thinking. He is a full 10 pounds now and his Vet. says he's PERFECT! I agree.

Maltese Pomeranian Mix - Pippa

by Mikayla: 11 years old
(U.S.A)

Pippa is a Maltese Pomeranian mix who is absolutely adorable. But don't let her cuteness fool you; she can be mean sometimes. She espcially loves to bite, which we are trying to stop, and she loves to go under furniture and chew on stuff that isn't good for her. She can be really nice when she wants. She is 2 months old and looks just like a Pomeranian and has a white chest. She has a snout that is a little bit longer then a Pomeranian's and ears that stand up and sometimes flop over. She is just a ball of fluff! Pippa is really energetic and loves to play. My Maltese Pomeranian mixes favorite toy is a safe water bottle that has treats inside it that she tries to get out. Pippa is so smart; I constantly have to refill the water bottle with treats. It takes her no time to get all the treats out. Pippa loves to pounce on toes, hands and her toys, which we call "Pippa Pounce". To me, Pippa is a comedian and loves to be my side at all times or she will cry for me. Pippa loves being praised and loves getting Milk Bone treats when she goes potty outside. Pippa is a rescue dog that is now really happy and gets to play alot and just be a pup. She's the queen of our house.

I definitely recommend a Maltipom to any one with older children who can take on the barking and biting and the housebreaking and other puppy stuff. Remember, try and get a rescue dog because you coud save a life like we did with Pippa. Get a Maltipom you won't regret it!
