Maltese Poodles - Brandy Sue
by Judy Johnson
(San Antonio, TX)
Brandy with our lab, Jasmine
I have had one of the best Maltese Poodles Brandy now 6 1/2 years. She was purchased from a breeder in northern Alabama. I have had many animals all my life, but she is the most distinct of them all. She is extremely close to me and when she looks at me, it is as though she understands what I'm saying and it's as if she is looking into my soul.
She is very playful (loves her toys and brings them to you when she wants to play) and loves children. Her biggest thing is she loves to completely bathe you in her "Angel" kisses. She will literally lick you until she pants or you feel your skin will no longer be there. My Maltese Poodle mix also likes to lick your lower legs and feet when you get out of the shower or bath and gets her feelings hurt if you don't let her. She sleeps cuddled right next to my chest/back area all night. She is the biggest source of joy to me everyday and makes me laugh and smile so much.
We also have a Toy Poodle named Jade and Brandy thinks she has to mother her, licking and cleaning her face and ears. Actually she mothers everything, and especially loves babies of any kind (chickens, goats, kitties, bunnies, etc). I had 3 abandoned kittens that I bottle fed and she would lick them all over as well. She loves to go outside and 'kiss' the big puppies too. She would always dance on her back feet and kiss our black Labrador (Jasmine was put to sleep 2 yrs ago for health reasons).
I don't believe in cloning, but if I had the means to do so, my Maltese Poodle would be the one I would clone.

Maltese Poodles - Minni
by Michael Nicholas
(Ohio)
Minni is one of the funniest and sassiest Maltese Poodles. She LOVES to cuddle. She snoops around everyone's rooms and likes to eat toliet paper! She is so sweet always. She is going to be Minnie Mouse for Halloween. She just loves everyone especially her groomer.
Our Maltese Poodle has made our house an even more loving home. When we come home, she dances on her two back legs until we bend over and give her kisses.

Maltese Poodles - Murphie and Bella
My first of two Maltese Poodles Murphie is now 12 years old. He is my baby and the love of my life. He is so spoiled that he does not even know he is a dog. He is so smart it is scary. I wish we could have cloned him. He does what ever you want him to do. He has been my life.
Then my kids wanted me to get another Maltese Poo. So we got Bella a little girl. She is so full of puppy and so cute too. That my Murf doesn't like her much now. She is more like a Maltese dog rather than Poodle. She has straight hair. Murphie has the Poodle like hair.
We have always washed Murphie once a week, we cut his hair and nails and wash his ears and brush his teeth. He will stand for hours to get all that done. Then I dress him up. Now Bella will have to get use to that too. I have tried to wash her already and have dressed her up. She doesn't like it as much as Murphie does, but she will have to get use to it. Ha ha. My only problem is how to cut Bella, like I said her hair is different and straight.. I cannot find any step by step instructions on how to do it.
Bella is only 3.8lbs. Murphie is 15lbs. But Bella will only be about 8 or 9 lbs they said ,her dad was a toy. mom regular. But Maltese Poodle mixes are the best dogs to get. They are smart and they love you so . Murphie looks at you and you tell him things and he does it. You do not believe it till you see it. He is my baby. I am hoping Bella will learn from Murphie. But right now Murphie is not loving Bella. I am giving Murphie as much love as he can get now.
So, these are my Maltese Poodle babies. Murphie and Bella..... Hope you enjoyed hearing about them.
