Maltipom Puppies - Millie

by Julie Pearson
(Shelby, NC)

Millie

Millie

Millie is a wonderful little Maltipom puppy lady... She is a head turning ball of fur! Millie is 4 months old and weights close to 3lbs. She is an absolute joy. She loves to ride in the car, she sits proudly on my shoulder to see where we are going.

Everyone from seniors to toddlers just love her. She is very outgoing and playful and she very seldom barks. Millie loves to play in the water, roll around in the yard with the cats and play fetch. We are still working on house training, but I must say that she is doing very good!

Would I recommend a Maltipom as a family pet? YES,YES,YES!

Maltese Pomeranian Puppies - Cody

by Josie
(Orange County )

Maltese Pomeranian puppy Cody at 6 months

Maltese Pomeranian puppy Cody at 6 months

Cody was part of a litter of two Maltese Pomeranian puppies. Cody had a multitude of different colors (dark brown, brown, white, black). His sister was full white. Both of the dogs look very similar to each other and had baby bear faces. He looked like a tri colored Maltese but now he looks nothing like a Maltese.

Cody is social and very loving. He is definitely full of energy and runs around the yard all day long. At about 1 year of age, his ears stood straight up. His ears are larger than a Pomeranian but stand straight up like that breed. His hair also lightened up, it is all white with light light tan spots. He ended up looking completely different than when he was a puppy. He weighs about 9 lbs and is thin for his height (he gets a ton of exercise running around but doesn't like to eat much).

Maltipom Puppies - Gizmo

by Jennifer Clements
(Huntersville NC & Venice FL)

Gizzy is a good girl

Gizzy is a good girl

Gizmo is the light of my life and is one of the cutest Maltipom puppies ever! She was born May 22 2009 at 7 am in the morning. It is now currently October 12, and she is nearly 6 months old, weighing in at just 2.9 pounds.. she is soo Tiny. Her mom is a black 6 pound Pomeranian named Emmie and her dad is a 5 pound Maltese named Smokey. She has 1 sister and 1 brother that went to WONDERFUL homes. She is happy, EXTREMELY energetic, PLAYFUL, loving and so smart!!!

She listens very well, and is such a sweet little girl! she is potty trained, loves toys, she has one of them that's her favorite we call it "her Grover", and her favorite thing to do is have her belly ru bbed. she likes to take my laundry and lay on it for some reason, I think it's cute that she likes my scent!

I have never loved a dog like I love her. People see her and immediately fawn over her She is the cutest thing in the world. Gizmo takes OK pictures, because she is sooo hyper, and its hard to keep her still My boyfriend has fallen madly in love with her. My Maltipom sleeps on his head/pillow at night. She has made Emmie a different dog, before Emmie wouldn't cuddle or play, she seemed depressed, but since Gizmo has come into our world she is the most loving dog! Our cats love her, they play and chase, and they even hold her down and lick her to get her clean! Gizmo Gets along with everyone, cats, dogs, strangers, EVERYONE!

I cannot explain to you how much I love her, I would recommend a Malti-pom to anyone wanting a little dog. they are the best!

Jordie NEW
by: Pam & Wayne

Jordie is our nearly five year old Male Maltipom.
He is the most loyal, loving dog we have ever owned. He went to obedience school and was very easy to train from six months on.
He always goes away with us on our caravan trips and is one of the family.
Our eight grandsons love him too.

Maltese Pomeranian Puppies - Freddy and Teddy

by Anna
(TN)

I am buying 2 Maltese Pomeranian puppies cuz I could not stand to separate them.I will not be able to get them until next week. One has a longer snot then the other. They are off white, not white and yet not gold at this point. I don't know if they will color change or not.

I had never heard of the Maltese Pomeranian mix before so I check with the AKC. and they are and up and coming hybrid breed. All I know at this point is that they are the sweets things.

I will not get them until next week because they are not old enought to leave Momma yet. But I can' wait to get them. They are the cutest Malti-pom puppies and I didn't have the heart to seperate them so I bought them both.

I worry about training them. I have read a lot of different ways, but I think the plastic cut out front to a container sounds like the easiest for me and keeping them in a carry crate until they are trained. If there are other or better ways I woud love to hear about them. I can not take them out every 2 or 3 hrs and wait to see if they do their business or not because I have 7 stairs and I am 75 yrs. old. I will keep u informed on how I'm doing.

They'll be cute adults
by: Anonymous

Hi,
You aren't going to find them in the AKC, because they are not purebred dogs. Only purebreeds are listed with the AKC. Maltese are
a popular breed to cross with other small breeds.
One cannot predict what they will look like, since the puppies can inherit traits of either
breed. For example, we have a malti-poo. She only
weighs 6 pounds, has the fur, tail, and face of a
Maltese, but the legs of a toy poodle. Her coat
is mostly white, with a tiny patch of apricot on
her back and the tips of her ears. Your puppies
will most likely grow into adorable dogs. I hope
you aren't buying them from a petshop or puppy broker, because they are surely from puppy mills.
If the seller is making you wait, that is a good
sign. Many of these popular hybrids are products
of puppy mills. We thought our puppy was from a
home breeder, but found out later she was a dealer and our puppy came from a puppy mill. Our dog had some serious health issues, but has overcome all but the slipping patella. Her leg
slips out of joint. This is a genetic problem in
small breeds that a conscientious breeder would have dealt with.
