Peach Malti-poo Puppies - Maisey Jane

by The Hurleys
(Houston, Texas)

Maisey Jane

Maisey Jane

Maisey was born on 4.20.2008 and is one of the cutest peach Malti-poo puppies. She is very smart and loves her people.

Her biggest problem is when it comes to grooming time, which we do ourselves, she is very fidgety and uncooperative. But we always get through it and she looks beautiful. We are still deciding if and when it is time she should become a mother or be fixed.

We love her and would recommend a Malti-poo puppy to highly energetic people and families. They can definitely keep and then some.

Maltipoo Pups - Doobie"D"

by Paula
(Prescott Valley, AZ, USA)

I have one of the cutest Maltipoo pups who is about 1 1/2 yrs. I received him as a rescue dog. He is such a playful boy.

However the previous owner REALLY neglected him. I am now trying to figure out the best way to get him house broken and to listen alot better.

My Malti-poo is such a joy, I hope I can train him. I would hate to get rid of him. He loves to give kisses.

training your maltipoo
by: Susan

Paula, being patient is the one thing I have learned from our baby girl. She is a Morkie Maltese/yorkie mix and has traits of both. Her stubborn and sassy side I do believe comes from mom who is the Yorkie. We crate trained Belle from the beginning. We got a nice crate/kennel (not a wire one) and it' big enough for her to turn around in and be comfortable but not for her to have the space to go potty in it. She goes to bed when I do with her crate by the side of my bed. The first few nights she fussed some but we just told her no! Now she sleeps all night and we even get a little nap in the afternoon. We live in Minnesota and Belle is 9 months now and not quite 7 pounds so we decided to pee pad train her. As soon as she comes out of the crate she goes right to the pad. Then she is rewarded with lots of praise and a small potty treat. Belle is prissy so I use a newspaper on the pad so I can change it more often and not go through so many pads. She also has a seperate pad in the den where she poops. If I don't happen to see that she has done that, she comes and barks at me to be sure that she gets her treat. I ignored her one day and she came out of the den dragging the pad so I could see what she had done. They really like praise and attention! Belle isn't really good at listening yet, we are working on that at a steady pace. She likes to bark a lot, and gets hyper excited about squirrels in our yard. I have started using a squirt bottle of water and spraying her with a stream when she barks. It usually stops her. When she has watched the squirrels for a short time without barking, I tell her what a good girl she is and she gets a training treat. She does know what no bark means when she cares to listen! It's a day by day have patience kind of thing. But, it's so worth it from the love you receive in return.

Good luck with Doobie and he will come around. If he was neglected before there may be a trust issue involved, but just love him amd praise him and that will develope quickly.

Belle says to tell Doobie good luck getting his humans trained like she is doing!

I live in San Bernardino too. When Yoshi is old enough you should bring him to the dog park in Highland. Marley and Bentley would love to play with him.

How to remove eye weepage
by: Callie's mom

Selene's eye weepage can be removed with a fine tooth flea comb. Slightly mositen it first with a clean, damp rag then gently work it out. I use it on my Yorkie and Maltipoo all the time..works wonders. Your baby is soo adorable!

I have had my malpo for 10 years, and he is a pure joy!! I bought him as a gift to myself after surviving a stroke at the age of 32. No one could get a better, more loyal dog than a malpo.

Maltipoo Puppy Dog - Peanut

by Yer Vang
(Ceres, CA)

My Maltipoo puppy dog's name is Peanut and was given as a present to my older sister. She works and is hardly home, which is about 2 out 7 days. I'm currently not going to School for now so I take care of him and he knows me and only me. HEHEHEHEHEHE:) My sister says she's jealous of me and Peanut because of our relationship with each other. LOL. So, we came to a conclusion that it''s OUR dog. When we got Peanut, he was 2 months old but he wasn't just a 2 month old kind of dog. My family have two other dogs, a Chihuahua and a Shihtzu. We live in a 2 story home, and by the time they were 2 months old they didn't know how to climb up the stairs whatsoever.

Peanut, however, climbs up the stair like a PRO. My Maltipoo has a short tail, not like the rest of the maltipoo's where it's long and has a curve. He's very white with a hint of light cream on the ears. You can definitely tell he Has a Poodle in him. HIS LEGS!!!!! his legs are long and lean. He's very tall, taller than both of my other two dogs! Peanut was very easy to train, but you have to keep in mind to stay CONSISTENT with your dog. Before having Peanut, I would wake up late, 10-11 the most! Now, he's my alarm clock. He comes and lick me in the face and brush his WHOLE ENTIRE BODY on my face as well. Whenever I dont feel like getting up he would wait by the door and bark at me to get up and take him out to go do his business. Or sometimes, he just sleep in with me, but, he would sleep right next to my face and when I wake up I would see his face, facing me. Yes, he is house broken, whenever he needs to go pee or poop he would wait by the front or back door and bark.

Peanut is a very loving/nurturing dog, LOYAL, very PROTECTIVE, sweet, patient, obedient and more. My Maltese Poodle has many characteristic and personality! When ever my mom scold at peanut, peanut would roll his eyes at her! and would run and hide under the sofa from her! He is still a puppy so he has separation anxiety which means he'll cry all day whenever I'm not home which is only on the weekends or when I have errands to do. He loves to go play with other dogs(neighbors dogs), big or small, but they dont like him. Even my other two dogs don't like Peanut, they would leave him by himself. But when Peanut is with other maltipoo, its like they UNDERSTAND each other. LOL. so cute.

He eats PEDIGREE but not so much and only because my other two dogs eat PEDIGREE. On the other hand, peanut LOVESSSSS CAESAR food, and I would mix it with his solid food. He doesnt eat much as well as his treats too. He loves playing FETCH and would bring me the toy to play too. My Maltese Poodle puppy is now 5 months old and he is a good size. He brings out the best in me. The cutest thing he has ever done to me is when he sees me crying or when he can feel im sad and i'd be laying in bed, he would come to me sobering as well with his nose to MY NOSE. My Maltipoo puppy dog would brush his body to me, letting me know he is comforting me and with his cute little short tail, wagging. God bless is heart:)

Maltipoo Pups - Baci

Baci bear <3

Baci bear <3

Baci is the one of the best Maltipoo pups ever! He's almost a year and a half and he is the best thing that ever happened to me. He is soooo cute and smart! I call him my little poo bear.

Everyone loves him! He comes everywhere with me, even restaurants, and no one ever knows hes there. He lovesss his bag... such a little traveler!

I know other people with Malti-poos and they all have such great personalities. Baci is the friendliest dog, very social with both people and other dogs, and he loves to play. I take him to little doggie playgroups.

He's such a lapdog... he'll jump on your lap and just cuddle with you. :-) He's quite stylish as well ;-)

Malti-poo Puppies - HaLo Mi Amore'

my Halo always ready for a photo op..

my Halo always ready for a photo op..

Halo is one of the sweetest Malti-poo puppies, is 6 mths old and weighs about 9lbs. Dr. says she's not over weight and that she's probably not gonna grow. She's so sweet and cocks her head ever so slightly when I'm instructing her to sit or stay... you guys know what I mean. She does get super excited at least once a day and dashes through the house top speed, bouncing off of the furniture. She slows down just long enough to lick us up.

We named our Malti-poo puppy Halo Mi Amore because that's who she is to us "OUR LOVE". The only problem I have is leaving her alone... she cries and barks continually... plz help with this problem... thx.

Halo
by: Little Miss Muffit

Your little dog is a cutie and looks very much like my Morkie, Muffit, who is 1 year old now and weighs 7 lbs. I think Halo needs a safe place for when you are gone. Muffit has learned that her kennel (crate) is her safe place when we leave. We put her in it and she makes no noise at all when we leave her. If she isn't in her kennel when we leave, she barks in large protest. Try it.
