Teacup Morkie - Elliot

by Trish
(Dublin, CA)

I have a micro teacup Morkie. (Yorkie/Maltese)

I was going to get a Yorkipoo or a Maltipoo but I did a rescue for a poo-mix and that dog was just too smart for me... Poodles are smart... but too smart for me... well, she just kept trying to manipulate me... for example, she tried to make me stop loving my blind, Cocker Spaniel, Babette.

Anyway, after reading about, and viewing on YouTube, the Morkie, Maltese Yorkie mix I decided that was the dog for me. Just go on YouTube and search for Morkie puppy... watch a few clips and you will be smitten!

They have a big heart, great sense of humor, and are smart but not so smart they take over... they seem to "want to make me happy" was the owner's quote that stands out, as well as "I feel that s/he actually loves me"... well, I hate to say it, but even after owning/knowing several breeds of dogs... this is TRUE about my Morkie.

I have a special song I sing to Babette. The lyrics allude to all kinds of funny names and things she has done over the 13 years I have had her. It is her night-time lullaby and I have sung it to her while she was in the hospital or whenever she is down.

Well, my Morkie's name is Elliot. I made up a little song for him too. His vets and groomers want to know how to spell Elliot since there are various renditions. I have started "our song" and it has these words in it so far: His name is Elliot, no matter HOW you spelliot. He loves his toys, especially when they make noise. He breaks their necks, then with them has sex." Well, you know each dog has its own idiosyncrasies."

Anyway, that is the story of my Morkie... Elliot... no MATTER HOW you spelliot.

Teacup Morkie - Chanel

by Barbara
(Oxon Hill MD)

My teacup Morkie is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 3.9 lbs She is my life I love her so much! She just the sweetest dog very loving very laid back. When she feels like playing she will if not she just CHILLS.

She loves to sleep with me will not wet the bed and if she does she gets very upset with herself. It did not take to long to housebreak her to the pp pad. She is a blonde color tan and white no black or brown and everyone just falls in love with her. I keep her hair long ears are long to she is just beautiful.

She is very friendly and loves attention. I would love to have another one to keep her company.

Thank You
a Morkie Lover

Teacup Morkie - Rio

My teacup Morkie is very very small, about 3 pounds and he is 10 months old. He is very loving and he loves to play with his ball or any other toys from his toy basket. He is very spoiled, but his good looks make it hard to say no.

He loves to go on walks, but in the harsh winter months I have to put his sweater on. He loves people and instantly becomes friends with anyone and any other dog he meets. He loves to hide his bones under blankets, jackets, in shoes and in the cushions of the couches. It's a nice surprise to find a bone in your shoe in the morning.

My Morkie has a wonderful personality and I am glad he is part of our family!

Teacup Morkie - Elliot

(Dublin, CA)

Elliot

Elliot

I love him! He is so cute, funny, smart and loving! He is a micro teacup Morkie, so at 9 months, he is only 3.5 lbs.

I thought he would want another Morkie for a companion so I bought a little girl puppy a couple of weeks after I got him (at 9 weeks old). They played and played and wrestled and had a wild time together. The problem was, each wanted to be my SPECIAL baby and they began to compete in ways that weren't healthy. I gave the girl to a friend with a daughter. They live with their grandparents, and this girl Morkie is the only pet...she is their baby now and very happy, Her name is now Lola. I will send you a pic of her soon as well.
